WHO IS?

Dr Kaliaden is a DHA-licensed psychologist / consultant practicing in Dubai since 1994, attached to various Medical Centres including Welcare Hospital and Prime Medical Centre, “Solution-Focused Brief Therapy” is the model that he follows in his clinical practice. By this approach the client is enabled to find speedy relief from suffering, and a lasting solution to the problem situation.

Dr George Kaliaden’s interdisciplinary education and wide, multi-cultural experience: (in India, USA, UAE) makes him unique in his field. He works with Adults, Teenagers, University Students, Couples, Training Groups and Corporate Clients. He has conducted hundreds of training workshops for teenagers, college youth, parents, teachers and executives. His proven professional effectiveness is acclaimed by clients / referring doctors in the Middle East. He serves clients worldwide by his online counseling sessions

Education: PhD in Applied Psychology and disciplinary training in Logic, Philosophy, Literature (Sanskrit, Latin, German), Social Planning and Comparative Religion. He has Studied/ worked in many countries like USA, India and the UAE and has lived and worked on campuses like IIT Bombay and the University of Texas at Arlington and was a research scholar at the prestigious University of Pennsylvania (1982-83). He is member of the American Psychological Association, Society of Clinical Psychology (USA) and a Life Member of Indian Academy of Applied Psychology.

Dr George Kaliaden has written and published several books on Behavior Therapy, Parenting Psychology and Poetry Therapy and have served as the editor and publisher of the journal “Teens and Parents” .His well-known book "Moulding Your Child" was translated into Arabic, Urdu and Malayalam. The Arabic version was published by the Government of Sharjah ( Supreme Council for Child Development) in 1998.
